Responsibilities of Customer Service Officer -

Achieve sales target through personal selling (visiting market) and driving the distribution system

Managing the distributor system in terms of both front-end and back-end infrastructure

Systematically analyze, extract and use MIS reports to identify possible gaps and opportunities to improve execution and performance in your respective geography

Negotiate with distributors and develop his people on managing customers to obtain more business

Analyze how to improve the competitive position in the market through improved customer service

Monitor systematically the performance of the distributor and distributor sales team and take corrective selection

Cultivate and leverage relationships with trade to strengthen our market position. Further, use the same and provide feedback and reports to the branch office.

Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB) Programme is an initiative of ICICI Bank in partnership with Manipal University. The Probationary Officers training programme aims to attract young talent who wish to pursue a career in banking. It is a vocational training programme designed to develop a pool of first level managers with banking knowledge and required skill-sets to perform efficiently in their day-to-day activities.The roles offered on joining the bank after successful completion of the Program will involve servicing, cross-selling and acquiring new customers through field visits as part of the duties/tasks assigned. Similarly internship / on-the-job-training periods will also involve these duties/tasks as part of the learning process.

Programme Highlights

One year full time residential programme conducted at ICICI Manipal Academy (IMA) campus, Bengaluru including internship and on-the-job training at ICICI Bank
The programme focuses on balanced approach of providing inputs of relevant knowledge, developing deep banking skills and shaping required behaviors
The training imparts knowledge and skills in core banking areas like banking products, processes, systems, regulations and compliance frameworks involved in day-to-day operations
With more than thousand real-life case studies on service, sales and compliance themes interwoven in the course curriculum, the new curriculum lays greater emphasis on skill building of the Probationary Officers so as to enable them to deliver productivity from day one
